WOMB SCHOOL CERTIFICATION | LIVE & ONLINE
THE SOMATIC WOMB PATH
𖣊
The Somatic Womb Path is a 9-month certification program for healing practitioners who are ready to embody and offer spirit-heart-womb transformation.
Anchored within the deep well of wisdom that is East Asian Medicine, understandings of the nervous system and somatics, this journey invites you into the inner alchemy of somatic womb work through relational healing, and the art of space-holding.
Join us as we feel our way through the slow medicine of the seasons as a pathway back to our bodies and wombs.
THE SOMATIC WOMB PATH
WILL GUIDE OUR PRACTITIONERS IN:
-
Cyclical Attunement
Understanding the concentric circles of the seasons, life cycles (seasons of the womb), journey of Qi & Jing along the elements, and sacred timekeeping.
-
Somatic Womb Work
Engaging and relating with the transformations experienced on a mind-body level throughout the entire womb continuum in connection with all of the aspects that influence the web of our spirit-heart-womb.
-
Space-Holding
We’ll explore the rhythm of relationship, practitioner-client resonance, soft-skills, boundaries, and resourcing, focusing on whole-body listening rather than simply doing to or fixing.
-
Practitioner Cultivation
The strongest tool that we bring to your healing sessions is you! You matter as a practitioner and your nourishment is essential. Inner Alchemy meets community in this program.

Kirby Teuila Grey, DAHM
“So much of my empowerment has come from this class, and the level of embodiment I have in my own womb, no other voices live there now but my own……I feel like it's just come so much indirectly and directly from this class and being taught by folks that identify as women has been extraordinary particularly in my schooling that was not that. There's this new era happening and I'm super thankful for you all.”
Témar Marté, Punani Steam & Somatic Womb Practitioner
“I want to pay homage to Marissa, Jeevan, and Kris being Women of Color sharing your bloodline of wisdom and practices, just that alone is everything to me! I see me in You and always wanted cultural perspective from BIPOC teachers.”
”
Britta McCrae, Studio Britta
“I feel like this material is teaching me how to live.”
Asha Kohli, Kohlibri Creative
“So glad for this sanctuary space and for this potent and transformative process! So much love and gratitude, and so excited to continue and deepen further with you all! Thank you, Jeevan Singh Marissa Correia and Kristin Gonzalez, for sharing such intentional and profound wisdom, in such visually beautiful + energetically attuned ways. I have to sign off, but I look forward to what comes next!”

WHAT IS SOMATIC WOMB WORK?
Somatic Womb Work is a radical transdisciplinary modality that weaves together somatics, mindfulness, traditional earth-based wisdom and womb-pelvic bowl healing for whole being transformation.
Somatic Womb Work supports clients in cultivating greater womb and pelvic bowl embodiment. It guides us to the womb space as a place of reclaimed safety, as the seat of our creativity and vitality, where healing is possible multi-directionally.
By returning us to our connection with inner and outer cycles in nature, Somatic Womb Work reminds us that pleasure work is grief work, that death is the doorway to birth and that rest is the grandmother of joy.
In Somatic Womb Work, we explore:
𖣊 Our client's womb stories + current & desired relationship to their womb & pelvic organs.
𖣊 Relevant themes that arise in relationship to their womb & pelvic bowl.
𖣊 Somatic practices for developing a felt sense of safety, grounding, agency & connection, to name a few.
𖣊 Embodiment exercises to bridge connection to the womb, root and pelvic bowl.

PROGRAM CONTENTS & SCHEDULE
-
APRIL 13th & 14th, 2024
In this opening workshop we'll be laying the groundwork for our 9-month journey together in The Somatic Womb Path and naming the arc of our journey. Beginning with the “me,” we will hone in on our own healing and resourcing as practitioners. Following this arc in our 2nd and 3rd immersions, we’ll expand to you - the “me + you” as we begin to apply this work to our healing practices. And, lastly, we will return to the “we” - the collective pool of mystery in our last immersion with the Water element.
We'll also be studying our navigational map, which details the fundamentals of Chinese Medicine, Somatics and the nervous system in relation to the concentric circles of the seasons, the 7-year life cycles and the menstrual cycle for the purpose of integrating, relating and healing the womb. Practitioners that complete the 9-month journey will gain a deepened understanding and incorporation of the triangle of Somatics, East Asian Medicine and The Womb.

JUNE 8th & 9th, 2024
Description coming soon…
-
AUGUST 3rd & 4th, 2024
For this immersion, we’ll explore healing as relational, to each other, to our bodies, to our earliest caregivers and how they impacted our developing nervous systems, as well as to our inner child and the Heart-Womb axis.
East Asian Medicine and Somatics are relational fields, and Fire and Earth are considered a mother-child pair. Fire teaches us about our emotions, our relationships, our joy, pleasure and connection, as well as how these can get blocked.
Earth guides us into our sense of safety and “trust” in the world, our embodiment and how we digest experience. Putting roots into the Earth guided by the light of Fire, we'll experientially learn the importance of resourcing, co-regulation and attunement in our work as healing practitioners, as well as the roles of Blood, digestion and the Shen or Spirit in heart-womb wellness.
-
OCTOBER 19th & 20th, 2024
In this immersion we will be orienting to the Metal element as we explore boundaries, containment and the alchemy of distillation to reveal the core of what matters most in life.
We will continue to hone in on Practitioner Cultivation and Space-Holding as we practice containment first for ourselves as practitioners, aligning with our felt sense of integrity, inner-essence and clarity from which to relate from. From this place, we can gently track with clear eyes and heart, mirroring what we witness in another, slowing down and inviting our clients to be with their truth of what is.
Through the spirit of the Lungs and the Metal Element, Po, we can explore the themes of grief and love in womb work, letting go and finding what is most precious. Finding firm and soft ground within our inner masculine and inner feminine, yin and yang, we will learn tools, practices and skills for Practitioner-Client Alignment. As we shine the glass of our own inner mirrors, we will receive greater clarity and reflection.
-
DECEMBER 14th & 15th, 2024
As we close out the Year of the Yang Wood Dragon, we can reflect on all the lessons that the Water element has to teach us. It is the origin of all things and represents our initial home, the Watery Womb & The Mystery. Here, we can connect to our ancestors, our birth stories, our lineage and learn the art of wu wei, as well as harness and conserve Jing essence, nurture longevity and have more trust in the unknown.
Through the spirit of the Kidneys and the Water Element, Zhi, we can explore freeze and flow in the nervous system, tapping into our will power as we adapt to the ever-evolving circle of change. In the spirit of the circle, endings are also beginnings. From Water, we are born into Wood to begin another cycle.

MAY 4TH with Kris González, L.Ac.
Chinese Medicine teaches us that prevention is the key to health and longevity. There's a whole tradition based on these teachings - The Nourishing Life Tradition.
In this workshop, we'll cover a brief history of this timeless wisdom and learn ways to bridge our passion to practice in order to live more sustainably and nourished as healers. We will lean into our medicine of ritual, the rhythmic flow of the seasons, the ebb and flow of yin & yang, the generating cycles of the elements, returning to our bodies, connecting to our hearts and honoring the shen level of the human experience so that we may be the living example for our patients.
-
MAY 25th with Dr. Jeevan Singh, DSOM, MSiMH
Everything that has ever been experienced in our lives has happened through our bodies. This includes our physical sensations and thoughts, our emotions and beliefs, moments of deeply felt connection and moments of loss. The tummy butterflies when falling in love, the quickening heart rate of anticipation, the long exhale of calm.
We experience the world and our relationships through our bodies. It makes sense then that if wounding happens through our bodies, repair and healing is most profound when it becomes embodied. Join us in this workshop as we learn techniques for inviting somatic mindfulness into our lives and work in order to support deep transformation and healing.
-
JULY 13th with Marissa Correia Somatic Practitioner
In this course students will learn about sacred timekeeping which follows the seasons and the moon and womb cycles through learning about the wheel of the year and the menstrual cycle connection. Students will gain an understanding of the cyclical rhythm of healing through learning about the nervous system, the threat cycle and how we can orient towards growth and thriving.
-
AUGUST 31st with Dr. Jeevan Singh, DSOM, MSiMH
All processes in life follow a cycle from initiation to completion. We witness cycles through our breath, the phases of the moon and the menstrual cycle, to name a few. But what happens when a cycle gets "stuck" in a certain phase? Or when a step of the cycle is skipped?
The Cycle of Experience offers us a perspective into cycles of healing and change based on the psychosomatic frameworks of Hakomi and Gestalt. Oftentimes clients come to see us because they are craving some sort of change in their lives.
This class will help illuminate the process of cyclical transformation, particularly within womb healing, how we get blocked and how to begin to unblock our barriers to wholeness.
-
SEPTEMBER 21st with Marissa Correia Somatic Practitioner
In this course students will learn about the physiology of arousal and the anatomy of the female pelvis in relationship to pleasure. Students will gain an understanding of the role that pleasure plays within womb healing and come away with a deeper connection to their own lower energy center as a source of vitality and support in their own healing practice.
-
NOVEMBER 16th with Kris González, L.Ac.
In this workshop, we'll explore the movement and transformation of Jing and how this applies to the health and wellbeing of our female patients. This workshop will help to inform your treatments to always consider Jing when working with female patients and how to educate them to shift their lifestyles to conserve and protect Jing essence.
We’ll also explore our individual Jing journeys along the 7-year life cycles and learn how to facilitate this practice with our clients/patients.
